I am a 26 year old mother to a 3 year old little girl, and wife of 6 years to an amazing man. I live in north Florida, and enjoy a simple life. I had quite a rough childhood, but found God as a teenager and he helped heal all the wounds of my past. I have been saved since early 2001, but since the birth of my daughter my relationship with God has been slowly put more and more on the back burner, I allowed the busyness of life to get between me and God, and it was not until I was so far away from him, that I realized I had drifted away. So I decided to start journaling my journey back to righteousness, as a way to keep myself accountable, and dig deeper then the surface.
I want to make it clear that I am no expert, I am not a preacher, or a teacher. I do have a few years of bible collage under my belt, but I do not hold myself as a scholar. I wish to be 100% transparent, and write about how I am feeling, what I am dealing with, and what I get from my daily devotionals, my biggest fear is that I could lead someone else astray if I misinterpret scripture, so whatever you read here please check it out yourself… build your faith on your own studies, and do not take my word for it.
